Religious Projects
Molnar Jordan & Associates, Inc. has experience designing churches and worship centers from new buildings to major renovations to match our clients’ needs.
Some of these projects include:
Atlanta Unity Church (Norcross, Georgia)
Atlanta Unity Church decided to buy an existing office building and convert the structure to a place of worship. The existing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components of the building were analyzed for possible reuse. A detailed report assessing the MEP systems functionality and possibility for reuse was submitted. Once the project was underway, mechanical design included complete load calculations, unit selections, distribution design, and noise criteria design to meet the owner’s intended use. Electrical design included metering and providing panels for the new interior layout. Plumbing design included providing sanitary, water, and natural gas for the new layout.
Chatsworth First United Methodist Church (Chatsworth, Georgia)
Chatsworth FUMC added a 10,000 square foot multi-purpose building that included classrooms, a multi-purpose room/gym, a new kitchen, and storage space. A portion of the existing building was renovated to move some existing facilities to the new addition. Mechanical design included complete load calculations, unit selections, distribution design, and noise criteria design to meet the owner’s intended use. Electrical design included metering and providing panels for the new addition. Plumbing design included providing sanitary, water, and natural gas for the new addition. The renovated portion mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components were reworked to accommodate the new space usage.
Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church (Atlanta, Georgia)
