Kimani Clinic (Atlanta, Georgia)
The Kimani Clinic is a two-story medical office building located on 14th Street in Atlanta, Georgia. The facility’s primary focus is the study of sleep disorders. The existing building had been gutted in a prior renovation. Mechanical design included complete load calculations, unit selections, distribution design, and special attention to the needs of the facilities owner. Plumbing design included providing sanitary, water, and natural gas for the building.

OPI MRI (Newnan, Georgia)
The OPI MRI located in Newnan, Georgia is a diagnostic imaging office that includes MRI, CT, and Radioflourescopy. Mechanical design included typical medical office HVAC plus the specialty cooling required for the MRI equipment. Electrical design included metering, panels, and power distribution to serve the imaging center. Plumbing design included providing sanitary and water for the space. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing elements were also designed around the shielding required for the imaging technologies utilized.

Rausch Dental (Stone Mountain, Georgia)
The Rausch Dental building was an existing child-care facility that was purchased to be turned into a dental office. The existing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components of the building were analyzed for possible reuse. Once the project was underway, mechanical design included complete load calculations, existing HVAC unit information confirmation, distribution design, and HVAC zoning to meet the owner’s requirements. Electrical design included metering, panels, and power distribution for the new interior layout. Plumbing design included providing sanitary, water, and natural gas for the new layout. The major mechanical equipment systems were reused and only duct distribution had to be redesigned, saving the owner a substantial percentage of construction budget.
